* Alle benötigten Programme sind in einem selbstextrahierenden Archiv zusammengefasst (Download nxt.exe). Nach dem Download muss das Archiv zunächst entpackt werden. Die Struktur des Paketes setzt voraus, dass es in das Hauptverzeichnis einer Partition (also z.B. D:\ entpackt wird). Es werden beim Entpacken automatisch die benötigten Ordnerstrukturen und Startverknüpfungen angelegt.<br />

* Vor der erstmaligen Verwendung der NXT-Bricks muss die Lego-Firmware durch die LEJOS-Firmware ersetzt werden. Eine [http://www.lejos.org/nxt/nxj/tutorial/Preliminaries/GettingStartedWindows.htm#11 Anleitung] (engl.) findet sich auf der Projektseite von LEJOS. Das benötigte Programm "nxjflash" bzw.
